ReplyDeleteWe had an identical ice storm in Rochester in 1992 (not too sure of exact date). It was eerie and beautiful at the same time with cracking branches that sounded like gun shots, and no power. It was a hunkering down kinda time. I liked the still time. No rushing, swishing, swirling traffic. Just time to reflect, read, and love.
