  1. What people wear and don't wear to the fair is always interesting. You can count on a variety of great costumes and free spirits. I sometimes hesitate to post photos of the O.C.F. because I don’t want to attract twisted knuckleheads to the Fair who think it’s a voyeur’s photo event. It’s not Mardi Gras or a girls gone wild party. It’s a family event for hippies (and hippies at heart) of all ages. It began in the year of Woodstock, 1969, and for Peace-nicks like me it’s the best three days of the year. Three days of humanity without the vanity, profanity, or insanity of folks like Sean Hannity. I recommend it to all my progressive minded friends.

  2. I always enjoy living vicariously through your lens. Thanks for taking us on your journey. This event at OCF is really celebration personafied. And here here to the comment about the girls gone wild comparison. I see it as just good clean uninhibited fun.

  4. Hi in2food! Thank you for commenting. I'm glad you enjoy my OCF "snapshots." With your camera and skill, you’d have a field day at the fair. You have an artistic eye, and you get the essence of the event ~ It is an uninhibited celebration of humanity, freedom, and equality. I bet you and the Mrs. would enjoy an afternoon there. …Smiling at The Kingston Trio gives away your inner-hippie ;)
